Prayer for our Bloodlines

Dear Lord, saturate our bloodlines with your glory; make all that you are and stand for irresistible to young and old; Cancel the plan of the enemy to keep us in the dark bowing to unforgiveness and fear.
Rescue the perishing. Forgive us. Turn stony hearts into hearts of flesh. Help us to forgive like you do. Let the words of our mouthes and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing in your sight.
Heal and deliver us from any old wounds and help us to choose following you, your will and your way in all we think do and say.
Let the banner over us be love and let every fruit of your Spirit abound in our lives in every generation in Jesus name Amen

Lord, I pray right now that you would mute and shut down any demonic inspired thoughts globally in the name of Jesus. You can change the hearts of kings like you turn the course of the waters. Please change the hearts of all who are feeling worthless and lack trust in you and your plan for their lives.

Cancel every destructive impulse, feeling or thought and replace them with acceptance of your complete love for all of us. Stir a fire for belief in Jesus that cannot be extinguished.

Outpour your love so generously on the worst of these in the darkest of places that they can’t help but look up and back away from any act in person or cyber that might kill, steal or destroy themselves or anyone else in Jesus name.

Lord Jesus, thank you for placing a hedge of protection around every public gathering place and every secret hiding spot where mischief, greed-inspired mayhem and apathy runs rampant in your precious name I pray Amen.

Lord, thank you for yet another day to dwell in your secret place and to abide under your shadow. Thank you for the protection and provision that comes with our abiding according to Psalm 91.
Help me Lord and all who are called by your name to humble ourselves, pray, seek your face and turn from our wicked ways.
Help us to reject and delete every distraction that keeps us from focusing on you.
Free us from leaning to our own understanding and hear this prayer, forgive our sins and heal this land.
Let our freedom bow to your perfect will and
ring more gloriously than ever before and let us never forget
that our help comes exclusively from you
in Jesus name I pray Amen

Thank you Lord that when my focus strays I can remember that my cup runs over
Thank you that when I look behind me I can see goodness and mercy following me
Thank you Lord that when my vision blurs and I temporarily suffer from failure to walk by faith I can remember that my cup runs over with just what You have in store for me
Thank you Lord that as I follow you you will shepherd me into green pastures and bless me with just the rest and nutrition I need
Thank you that as I follow you you will shepherd me to still waters and bless me with just the peace and reflection I need and my cup runneth over with with your blessed direction
Thank you Lord that when I try to go my own way you restore my mind, my feelings and my choices and shepherd me back to that path of righteousness for your name’s sake and my cup runs over with your blessed leadership
Thank you Lord that in those valleys of doubt and fear your leadership never fails and you never give up on me and my cup overflows with your steadfast presence
Thank you that in the presence of my enemies you shower me with an anointing that enables me to stand fearlessly and my cup runs over with that visible and enabling power that comes only from you
Thank you Lord that whatever comes my way on a holiday, weekday, weekend or any day I can make my home in your presence forever in Jesus name Amen.

Rev. Teirrah McNair is a lifelong writer and dedicated pastor/people builder who double crosses genre and seeks to inspire babies, baby boomers and all those in between. Her latest short stories appear in the anthologies “Indies Unlimited 2012 Flash Fiction Anthology” compiled by K.S. Brooks and most recently “City in a Wild Garden: Volume 2” edited by Walker, Maddox and Lovejoy.
McNair is the Chief Encouragement Officer (CEO) for the northern California based Soul Shaping Publications with an impressive catalog of literary works including The Lupe Rene Grief Relief Book Series for Kids Volumes 1 and 2; The Way of The Holy Spirit, two additional children’s books--Lucille Nadine Alexander’s Birthday and The Adventures of Martin Tyrone Sanchez Dupree 2nd Edition and a quirky novelette entitled March Madness Revisited Again. In the theater realm McNair graced auditoriums, schools, churches, museums, theater and film sets internationally with her prodigious talent as an actor/writer and workshop facilitator. She penned over 100 plays including her critically acclaimed one person show “Dirty Laundry” as well as her legacy pieces “Faithwalker: The Life and Times of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune” and “Hiding Out: My Biography”. She currently lives and pastors at Fountain of Life Global Christian Ministries in Menlo Park, California.
